The Dark Road:
A Primer on Cross-Cultural Demonology
The Dark Road: Demonology is a detailed, cross-cultural analysis of malign spiritual forces and the human condition. Through historical depth, theological clarity, and disciplined reasoning, Jonathan Graef maps the landscape of demonological belief and experience from ancient Mesopotamia to the modern era.
Rejecting superstition and spectacle, this work offers a sober, structured approach grounded in historical evidence, ascetic insight, and metaphysical discernment. Dark Road guides readers through the mechanisms of influence, the psychology of temptation, and the existential stakes of spiritual conflict.
This volume is an essential resource for scholars, practitioners, and readers who seek a serious exploration of demonology beyond the popular and sensational.
Works in Progress/Rewrites:
Zendi Preen is multi-racial young woman in a tiny decaying town in the middle of nowhere. She declined her acceptance to law school to care for terminally ill father. But, something is amiss. The old mine which gave her town life had been closed decades ago because of an "accident" and no one has any clear answers. Something has been corrupting the people- surreptitiously changing them to no longer be themselves. Dealing with an impoverished area, riddled with drugs and crime, racism, and her ailing father, can Zendi save her dad- let alone herself?
First Light is a short video series focusing on a hacker who discovers the US military and government response to alien contact. Written as realistic as possible without violating OPSEC (OPerational SECurity or "spilling" classified information)
The Exile is a trilogy which follows a warrior-mystic who is banished to our modern world and is trying to find a way back home. It explores his realm, evolving from ancient Sumerian culture some 15,000 before the Younger Dryas, into a society which embraces Nature, personal growth, and Religion rather than our culture of technology. Will he find a way back to his wife or will he succumb to our modern trappings of self-indulgence, greed, and materialism?
